Hi there! My name’s Brooke, and I’m the creator and editor-in-chief of Brooke’s Beauty Bazaar.
I’m a cosmetologist who’s suffered from more than her fair share of bad skin days, and now I’m on a mission to spread the word about fungal acne.
Why fungal acne?
I suffered from severe cystic acne for 17 years of my life, and it was hell. Nothing could ever keep my skin clear – not help from dermatologists, not prescription drugs, antibiotics, topicals, a clean diet, nor a natural approach to skin care.
In fact, I had resolved that I would always have bad skin. It was a fact of life I would just have to deal with.
And then, in 2019 I discovered a nasty little secret about a yeast (read: fungus) called malassezia, and for the first time in my life – my skin was clear without any expensive products, prescriptions, or harsh chemicals. Read about it here.
But I’m not going to keep this secret from you. On my blog & Youtube Channel – I spill all the details on exactly how I used my knowledge of malassezia folliculitis (fancy name for fungal acne) to clear my skin once & for all!
And now I’m here to prove that clear skin + amazing makeup can coexist!
